Iberville Parish Sheriff's Office authorities have details on a collision that killed a driver at Atchafalaya Basin Bridge in Atchafalaya, LA on January 16th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 7 p.m. A FedEx Truck is said to have collided with a DOTD at the scene of a previous crash. This resulted in a chain reaction collision involved two other vehicles. One person was hospitalized with minor injuries and later released. A second person was hospitalized with serious injuries. Police arrested John Guerin on charges that include negligent injuring, careless operation and failure to obey signs.
