What Happened

State Police are investigating a crash that killed three people at I-20 in Rayville, LA on August 17th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 2 p.m. A Volvo tractor-trailer reportedly suffered tire failure causing it to slow and move over onto the shoulder. A Penske moving truck collided with the rear of the truck. Two of the three people in the truck were killed at the scene. A third person was hospitalized with injuries that they also later died from.
