Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured a woman at Lisbon St in Lewiston, ME on June 8th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 8 a.m. Investigators say a separate accident involving a box truck caused a utility pole to be downed. As another vehicle hauling a replacement pole was traveling to the scene, it was struck in the rear by a vehicle operated by an unidentified woman. Police say the pole traveled through the windshield of her vehicle and she was hospitalized with serious injuries. Additional information was not been made available.
