What Happened

Anne Arundel County Police have information on a crash that led to a fatality at East Ordnance Rd in Glen Burnie, MD on May 11th, 2022. They say 36-year-old Jeremy Glen Yaruta was operating a dirt bike while headed westbound on East Ordnance Rd as it approached the intersection with Blades Ln. A tractor-trailer was reportedly in the process of making a left turn at the intersection and collided with a dirt bike, ejecting Yaruta and his passenger. Yaruta's passenger reportedly fled the scene while Yaruta, who officers say was not wearing a helmet, was hospitalized with serious injuries he later died from. The other driver was not injured.
