State Police are investigating a crash that killed two teens at I-81 and Route 40 in Hagerstown, MD on August 25th, 2022. Police say the incident involved a Lexus sedan that was allegedly merging onto I-81 at a high rate of speed before colliding with a tractor-trailer for unknown reasons. The driver of the Lexus, identified as 17-year-old Tyler Josenhans, suffered fatal injuries. Also killed was a rear seat passenger, identified as 15-year-old Clayton Knode. A front seat passenger, identified as Kannon Shives, was hospitalized with serious injuries. The truck driver was not injured. Additional information was not available.
