Massachusetts State Police are investigating a crash that killed a bicyclist at Watertown St and Bridge St in Newton, MA on August 28th 2023. Police say the incident happened as a UPS truck was headed eastbound on Watertown St. The vehicle is alleged to have turned onto Bridge Street at a bicyclist, age 57 and not publicly identified, headed westbound on Watertown St. Police say at some point, the two vehicles collided, leaving the bicyclist seriously injured. Authorities say the bicyclist was hospitalized for treatment of injuries they later died from. Additional details were not available.
