What Happened

State Police are investigating a crash that killed a man at Route 95 in Danvers, MA on October 1st, 2021. Police say the incident involved a piece of metal falling form the back of a Ford F550 dump truck operated by a 21-year-old construction worker. The metal piece then went through the windshield of a Ford Fusion operated by 69-year-old Thomas Arrington. Arrington suffered serious injuries that he died from. His 68-year-old passenger was hospitalized with minor injuries. Additional information was not available.
