What Happened

Michigan State Police are investigating a crash that killed a driver at I-75 and Springwells St in Detroit, MI on June 15th, 2022. Police say the incident involved a gravel hauler colliding with a pickup truck and semi-truck. The trailer attached to the truck was detached int he collision and fell onto a Dodge Charger, causing that driver minor injuries. The pickup truck caught fire in the collision, causing the driver fatal injuries. The other two drivers were not injured. Additional information was not immediately available.
