What Happened

State Police are investigating a two-vehicle collision that killed a man at US 12 in Mottvillle Twp, MI on April 13th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 9 p.m. According to investigators, a Mercedes was headed eastbound before allegedly crossing a center line. It then collided with a westbound semi-truck before catching fire on impact. 41-year-old Eric Herald, was pronounced dead at the scene. The truck driver was not injured.
