What Happened

Michigan State Police are investigating a collision that killed a man at Lehman Rd in Westphalia Twp, MI on December 20th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 8:30 a.m. A semi-truck was reportedly attempting to turn from Grange Rd onto Lehman Rd when a passenger car is said the have crashed into the rear of the truck. The driver of the passenger car, Jeffrey Blastic, suffered fatal injuries at the scene. The truck driver was not injured. Additional information was not available.
