State Police are investigating a crash that killed a man at US 131 in Wexford County, MI on July 28th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 2:40 p.m. Investigators believe a pickup truck allegedly failed to yield at an intersection before pulling into the path of an approaching semi-truck. The two vehicles collided in the process, leaving the 83-year-old Manton man operating the pickup truck, with fatal injuries. A passenger in the truck, age 78, was hospitalized with suspected non-life-threatening injuries. The other driver had minor injuries, according to officials, and was treated at the scene.
