What Happened

Ionia County Sheriff's Office authorities are investigating a crash that killed a man at I-96 in Clarksville, MI on December 8th, 2021. Investigators are saying it involved a vehicle occupied by 35-year-old Michael Sprague losing control for unknown reasons and colliding with the rear of a semi-truck. Investigators say the truck was in the shoulder and pulled out of the way of the vehicle at the time of the collision. Sprague suffered fatal injuries in the crash.
