What Happened

State Police are investigating a collision that killed a person at West Michigan Ave in Wayne, MI on June 30th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 12:30 a.m. A passenger car and tractor-trailer collided under unclear circumstances. A 78-year-old Canton Twp occupant in the passenger car suffered fatal injuries. Two others were hospitalized with serious injuries. The driver of the car was also hospitalized and later released from the hospital. The truck driver was not injured.
