What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a multi-vehicle crash that injured as many as seven people at I-75 and Warren Ave in Detroit, MI on June 23rd, 2023. Police say the incident involved a semi-truck and two other vehicles. It was alleged one of the vehicle struck the semi-truck while speeding, causing the truck to crash into a median wall. A third vehicle struck the truck after it overturned and caught fire. Police say seven people were hospitalized and three of the seven had confirmed minor injuries.
