What Happened

Michigan State Police are investigating a crash that killed a man at M-46 in Buena Vista Twp, MI on March 14th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 2:35 p.m. A semi-truck operated by a 40-year-old Pennsylvania man was reportedly suffering mechanical problems while attempting to reach an exit. Investigators believe a van operated by a 47-year-old man identified as Steven Cronin, collided with the rear of the tractor-trailer. Cronin was taken an area hospital with injuries that he later died from. Additional information was not immediately available.
