What Happened

State Police are investigating a crash that killed a woman at I-96 and Jackson Rd in Berlin Twp, MI on April 10th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 10:08 pm. Investigators allege a Chevrolet Silverado was traveling eastbound on I-96 prior to veering into a cable barrier. From there, the vehicle allegedly re-entered the road before it was struck by an approaching semi-truck. The woman operating the Chevrolet, unidentified and age 38, was killed. The condition of the other driver was not stated. Police stated they do not believe alcohol played a factor in the crash and had no additional information available to share.
