What Happened

Minnesota State Police are investigating a collision that killed a woman at County Rd 31 and Hwy 212 in Carver County, MN on October 12th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 8 p.m. A school bus carrying a cross country team was making a left turn from County Rd 31 onto Hwy 212 when it crashed with an oncoming Cadillac CTS. The driver of the CTS, Ellen Follestad, suffered fatal injuries. Two children on the bus, ages 14 and 12, were hospitalized with minor injuries. Additional information was not immediately available.
