Minnesota State Patrol officials are investigating a crash that killed one person involved at I-35W in Mounds View, MN on April 29th, 2024. Police say the incident happened when a vehicle attempting a merge was involved in a collision with another vehicle. Reprots indicate a chain reaction crash occurred involved involving a total of seven vehicles. Officials say one driver involved, identified as 67-year-old Kirby K. Schwarzkopf, was fatally injured.
