What Happened

State Police are investigating a crash that killed a woman at I-90 near Worthington, MN on May 11th, 2022. Officials say it happened during poor weather conditions. A passenger vehicle occupied by meteorologists was reportedly tracking the storm when it struck a downed electrical power line. The incident caused the vehicle to come to a stop when it was struck from the rear by a semi-truck. The impact caused fatal injuries for one of the occupants of the vehicle, identified as 30-year-old Martha L Llanos Rodriguez. Another occupant, 37-year-old Diego Campos was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries. 42-year-0ld Bradford S. Barrett was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries. Also hospitalized was Aldo Alberto ViscarrapAvilez.
