State Police are investigating a crash that injured a man at Hwy 7 and Babcock Ave in Winstead, MN on October 26th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 7:30 a.m. According to investigators, a semi-truck headed eastbound on Hwy 7 is said to have collided with a southbound SUV on County Rd 1. The SUV operator, identified as 58-year-old Paul Heinen, was hospitalized with serious injuries. The semi-truck driver, identified s 70-year-old James Kalenberg, was hospitalized with minor injuries.
