What Happened

State Police identified the person killed in a two-vehicle collision at Hwy 22 and 240th St in Litchfield, MN on February 16th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 5 a.m. A semi-truck operated by 33-year-old Matthew Felegy is said to have been headed southbound on Hwy 22 as a vehicle operated by 36-year-old Rick Braun was headed northbound. Police say as the vehicles approached the intersection, they collided under unclear circumstances. Braun suffered fatal injuries while Felegy was not injured.
