Mississippi Highway Patrol officials are investigating a crash that killed three people at Hwy 28 in Copiah County, MS on July 25th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 3 p.m. Officials say a logging truck operated by 75-year-old Robert Hunter, was headed eastbound when it collided with a Lexus ES350 under unclear circumstances. The driver of the Lexus, identified as 34-year-old Akera Reese, suffered fatal injuries. Hunter and Reese's passenger, 42-year-old Tiffany Coleman, suffered fatal injuries.
