Mississippi Highway Patrol officials are investigating a crash that injured at least seven people at I-29 near Bovina in Warren County, MS on August 31st, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 12:30 a.m. According to investigators, a passenger bus carrying as many as 47 people suffered a tire blowout that caused it to lose control and veer from the road. Reports say the vehicle overturned, killing as many as seven people. Authorities did not yet have any additional information available.
