What Happened

State Police identified the people hurt in a crash at Route DD in St. Francois County, MO on January 28th, 2022. They say the incident happened around 12:52 p.m. Investigators believe a box truck operated by 36-year-0ld Damian D. Barsh was headed westbound on Route DD when it veered from the road for unknown reasons. It then struck an embankment before going airborne and crashing. 27-year-old passenger Cortez L. Jackson was hospitalized with minor injuries. 39-year-old passenger David Q. Barsh was hospitalized with serious injuries. Investigators allege none of the occupants were wearing seatbelts.
