Kansas City Police are searching for a driver in connection with a fatal accident at Troost Ave and 89th St in Kansas City, MO on February 11th, 2022. They say the 59-year-old Donald L Bellamy was killed when he was struck by a vehicle around 6:30 p.m. Investigators say Bellamy lived nearby and was crossing the road with a mobility cane, due to being blind. The vehicle that truck him, believed to be a commercial truck, left the scene after impact and police are currently searching for the whereabouts of the driver.
