What Happened

Missouri State Police are investigating a crash that killed three people at I-270 in St Louis County, MO on July 7th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 12:30 a.m. A Pontiac G6 lost control and struck a concrete wall before swerving into the path of a tractor-trailer. The vehicles collided, causing fatal injuries to 33-year-old Jessica Kaplan and 31-year-old Nancy Hodge. The driver of the tractor-trailer, 66-year-old Spencer Perry, exited the truck to check on the occupants of the Pontiac before he was struck by a passing vehicle. Perry also suffered fatal injuries.
