What Happened

State Police have identified the person killed in a crash at Hwy 36 in Buchanan County, MO on July 20th, 2022. Police are saying the incident happened when a tractor-trailer operated by 55-year-old Scott Hopkins was struck in the rear by a motorcycle operated by 34-year-old John Shea. Police did not share details regarding how the collision occurred, however, they did confirm that Shea suffered serious injuries in the crash and was hospitalized for treatment.
