Area authorities are investigating a collision that injured multiple people at Hwy 171 in Jasper County, MO on September 29th, 2021. Police say the incident happened when a commercial truck headed westbound on Baseline Blvd failed to stop at a stop sign and collided with an SUV. The truck overturned and caught fire. Six people were taken to the hospital for treatment. They were identified as SUV driver, 65-year-old Kathi Bishop, truck driver, 43-year-old Joshua Dudley, 24-year-old Waylon Campbell, 69-year-old Deborah Biggers, 70-year-old Tommy Biggers and 83-year-old Clarence Bishop.
