State Police have information on a crash that killed a driver at US Hwy 412 in Dunklin County, MO on May 17th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 11:11 a.m. According to investigators, a semi-truck headed southbound is alleged to have failed to yield to a second eastbound semi-truck. The vehicles collided, causing serious injuries to at least one driver. That driver, identified as 57-year-old Kevin Nelson, was taken to an area hospital and later died from his injuries. The other drivers, 50-year-old Shane Hillhouse, was also hospitalized with undisclosed injuries. Additional information was not available.
