State Police have identified the person killed in a crash at I-255 in St. Louis County, MO on January 25th, 2022. Officials say the incident happened around 7:45 p.m. Investigators say a Jeep Wrangler operated by 62-year-old Linda S. Hemenway was reportedly reversing across the interstate from a far left lane to a left shoulder for unknown reasons. While doing so, it was struck by a tractor-trailer heading eastbound. Both Hemenway and her passenger, 72-year-old Edwin H. Hemenway were ejected from the vehicle and Linda suffered fatal injuries. Edwin was hospitalized with moderate injuries. The driver of the truck was not injured. Additional information was not available.
