Missouri State Highway Patrol officials have information on a collision that killed a man at I-55 and Danby Rd in Jefferson County, MO on February 21st, 2025. Police say the incident happened around 7:18 a.m. According to investigators, a tractor-trailer is alleged to have collided with the rear of a second tractor-trailer under unclear cirucsmrances. Officials say one of the drivers, only identified as a 49-year-old Perryville man, was fatally injured. The other driver, age 50 and also not publicly identified, allegedly suffered minor injuries.
