What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured multiple people at I-670 in Kansas City, MO on June 20th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 5:46 a.m. Investigators allege a stolen Hyundai was attempting to enter a southbound entrance ramp before colliding with a Kenworth box truck. It also struck a cement truck, causing the cement truck to travel over an embankment, hitting a Honda before traveling down an embankment into a tree. The truck also hit a Dodge Durango before catching fire. One person involved was seriously injured. There were multiple injuries reported, according to officials, however, the number of injured and nature of the injuries was not revealed.
