State Highway Patrol officials are investigating a crash that injured three people at I-70 in Callaway County, MO on April 20th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 7:15 a.m. According to investigators, a semi-truck operated by Ronell Franklin was operating a semi-truck that was reportedly attempting to avoid a previous crash when a GMC operated by Victor Gonzalez Acosta collided with the rear of the truck. A second semi-truck a by Glenn Doyle veered to the left of the road and also struck GMC. Gonzalez Acosta and two passengers were hospitalized with moderate injuries. Additional information was not immediately available.
