Montana Highway Patrol officials are investigating a crash that killed one person at I-90 near Whitehall, MT on March 12th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 6 a.m. According to investigators, an 18-wheeler headed westbound is said to have collided with a pickup under unclear circumstances. The collision resulted in a fire and passing motorists are said to have been able to help rescue the driver from the vehicle. The driver, who was not named, was pronounced dead at the scene. No other injuries were reported and police do not have any additional information to disclose at this time.
