What Happened

Nebraska State Patrol officials are investigating a crash that injured a driver at Hwy 23 and Road 434 in Bertrand, NE in May 25th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 8:30 a.m. According to investigators, a Chevrolet Malibu was headed northbound on Road 434 when it allegedly failed to yield at a stop sign. The vehicle collided with a tanker truck and the driver of the Malibu was hospitalized with serious injuries. A passenger and the driver of the truck were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries. Additional information was not immediately available.
