Stanton County Sheriff's Office authorities are investigating a collision that injured a driver at Hwy 275 near Norfolk, NE on November 26th, 2021. Police say the incident involved a passenger vehicle operated by a 45-year-old Wisner man colliding with a large log in the road. Investigators say the log had just fallen out of a pickup truck ahead and the impact sent the car into a median. The driver was taken to an area hospital with undisclosed injuries. Officials go on to say the pickup driver had allegedly been unaware the log had fallen out of the truck and later returned to retrieve it.
