What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured a person at  South 38th St and Saltillo Rd in Lincoln, NE on August 3rd, 2022. Police say the incident happened sometime around 7:23 a.m. Investigators believe a dump truck and passenger car were involved in the collision and say the occupant of the car was trapped in their vehicle after the collision. Once free, the individual was hospitalized with what are believed to be serious injuries. The dump driver was said to have been either uninjured or suffered minor injuries.
