Nebraska State Patrol officials have information on a collision that killed a motorcyclist at 132nd and Dodge in Omaha, NE on April 10th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 7 a.m. According to investigators, a semi-truck headed northbound on 132nd was attempting to turn onto Dodge. In the process, it collided at the intersection with a southbound motorcycle operated by 22-year-old Ty Rannals. Rannals was taken to an area hospital with injuries that were fatal. The driver of the truck, identified as 32-year-old Corey Johnston, was cited for misdemeanor motor vehicle homicide, according to officials. At this time, no additional information was available.
