What Happened

Nevada State Highway Patrol officials identified the person killed in a crash at I-11 in Las Vegas, NV on July 1st, 2021. Police say the incident happened when a Chevrolet Cruze operated by 28-year-old Alex Gonzalez collided with the rear of a flatbed trailer. The vehicle traveled under the flatbed causing Gonzalez fatal injuries. Passengers in the Cruze were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
