What Happened

Las Vegas Metropolitan Police are investigating a hit-and-run accident at Charleston Blvd and Sandhill Rd in Las Vegas, NV on September 16th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 6:51 a.m. According to investigators, a bicyclist was crossing Charleston Blvd when it went across a median and lost control, veering into the rear of a semi-truck. The truck is said to not have remained at the scene and the bicyclist, identified as 37-year-old David Serrano, suffered fatal injuries at the scene. The driver was later located and arrested for hit-and-run with death.
