What Happened

North Las Vegas Police are investigating a crash that killed a woman at Civic Center Dr and Webb Ave in North Las Vegas, NV on September 23rd, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 2 p.m. Investigators are saying a box truck headed northbound on Civic Center Dr veered from the road before traveling over a curb and onto a sidewalk. There, reports say the vehicle struck a woman before continued northbound, striking aborter vehicle. The woman, who was not identified publicly, was fatally injured at the scene. Authorities say the box truck operator, identified as 27-year-old Justin Marr, allegedly turned himself into authorities and faces possible, pending charges.
