What Happened

New Jersey State Police are investigating a crash that killed four people involved at Route 10 in Randolph, NJ on April 11th, 2025. Police say the incident happened around 3:16 p.m. Officials say a school van is alleged to have collided with another vehicle at an intersection. Police say 67-year-old Bertha Castaneda, 58-year-old Maria Z. Figueroa, and 71-year-old Diane Goetz all suffered fatal injuries in the crash. Also killed was a 4-year-old child. Reports say another child was hospitalized and two other adults were treated at the scene. Additional information was not available.
