State Police are investigating a crash that killed a person at I-78 in Newark, NJ on July 16th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 6:15 a.m. According to investigators, an eastbound semi-truck crossed a median into oncoming traffic, colliding with a second truck. The impact caused before vehicles to catch fire. One driver, identified as 45-year-old Israel Herrera Flores, suffered fatal injuries.
