State Police are investigating a crash that injured a man at US Route 20 near Antwerp Ave in Egg Harbor City, NJ on November 22nd, 2021. Police say the incident happened when a commercial truck collided with a car under unclear circumstances around 7:30 a.m. After that collision, the truck continued through oncoming traffic through a field before striking a tree and crashing into a home. An 80-year-old resident of the home suffered non-life-threatening injuries when the impact caused him to fall through an upper floor into a basement. The driver of the truck was also hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries. Additional information was not immediately available.
