What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed one person at I-40 near Moriarty, NM on November 9th, 2023. Police are saying the incident happened when a semi-truck veered from I-40 for unclear reasons before crashing into a nearby building. Officials two men inside the building, later identified as 47-year-old Chad Gunter and 42-year-old Brad Gunter, suffered fatal injuries.
