State Police are investigating a collision that killed a couple at State Rd 176 in Eunice, NM on April 28th, 2022. They say the incident involved a Ford F-35o colliding with the rear of a Chevrolet Silverado that was stopped for construction traffic ahead. The impact pushed the Silverado into the rear of a tractor-trailer ahead, causing fatal injuries to the occupants. The victims were identified as 43-year-old Cortney DeWayne Harman and 52-year-old Christopher Daniel Barrandey. The driver of the F-350 was hospitalized with undisclosed injuries.
