Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured four people at US Hwy 64 in Colfax County, NM on February 9th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 5:21 p.m. According to investigators, a Dodge Ram pickup truck, operated by 41-year-old Kiustyn Martin De La Torre, was eastbound on Hwy 64. The vehicle was allegedly traveling with active emergency lighting at a low rate of speed prior to being rear-ended by a semi-truck traveling at a highway speeds. The collision left four people in the Dodge injured. An infant in the vehicle died at the scene while the truck operator, identified as 29-year-old Talon Green, was hospitalized with minor injuries.
