State Police have identified the person killed in a crash at State Rd 128 in Roosevelt County, NM on August 11th, 2022. They say the incident happened around 8:10 p.m. According to their investigation, a Ford F-150 operated by 53-year-old Kevin Montes was headed eastbound on State Rd 128 when it allegedly crossed a center line into opposite direction traffic. From there, the vehicle is said to have collided with an 18-wheeler, leaving Montes with fatal injuries at the scene. The truck driver was treated for minor injuries at the scene.
