What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed a person at State Hwy 28 in Dona County, NM on September 12th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 6:30 a.m. A Cadillac CTS reportedly veered from the road for unknown reasons and crashed into a tree. A passenger, 19-year-old Pedro Delgadillo, was ejected from the vehicle and suffered fatal injuries. Investigators believe that he was not wearing a seatbelt at the time.
