State Police are investigating a crash that killed a woman at  County Rd 39 in Southampton, NY on December 6th, 2021. They say it happened around 10:19 a.m. A Jeep occupied by 85-year-old Elizabeth Genovese is said to have made what was described as "an abrupt turn" into the path of a bus operated by 510year-old Nedgra Baker. The vehicles collided and Genovese suffered serious injuries. She was taken to an area hospital where she later died. Additional information was not available.
